It does seem like that, doesn't it? I worry for them. They are good people and don't deserve to have their lives toyed with by these creatures as well as monsters.

I'm so tired of it. This is just the latest case. It is always something or other causing trouble, even when it isn't the Fog. And the humans are helpless to it, and they blame all monsters, even the ones who hold them no ill will. Which I understand. I would do the same. I did the same, in that other Ryslig. But I'm tired of it.

Sitting around and doing nothing. What is the point of a lifetime of cultivating the sword when cowering just like the common folk is all it comes down to in the end. A sect leader should be able to do more than what I do.

[ Maybe he should have gone into the past, after all, he thinks sometimes. Sometimes, he wonders how this other person who wanted to fared, if they died there for good or lived to see today's Ryslig again. ]
